Learn how to implement innovation

#Dementia #ARIIA

If you work in aged care and want to gain the knowledge and skills to implement innovative, evidence-based change in your workplace, or you’d like to upskill your team, then ARIIA’s Innovator Training Program (ITP) is for you.

The free training is delivered online via self-directed learning modules, facilitated workshops and small group project discussions. You will learn how to understand a problem, find a best-practice evidence-based solution, adapt it to your situation, plan its implementation and measure the change.

You will undertake the training with a small group of individuals from different aged care organisations across Australia. Choose from three schedules that spread the 110 hours of training over 3, 5 or 10 weeks.

The ITP can also be tailored for a team of staff from your organisation to solve an organisation-wide problem. The exclusive in-house ITP features 2.5 days of in-person group workshops at your workplace - a fantastic opportunity to gather a group of your staff to solve a problem together, while also upskilling them across the whole ITP course.

Up to $2,000 per participant (plus GST if applicable) is available to the employing organisation as a contribution to salary costs.

Applications for ITP Round 6 are currently open and rounds continue until October 2024.
